Our official matchday programme placed in the top 25 in an annual awards listing.
By the Sea – the official matchday programme of Redcar Athletic – has once again received national recognition in the end of season awards.
The popular magazine scored a top 25 finish for the first time since 2022, coming out on top of the Northern League having slipped to second place last season.
Designed by FootiePrint and Digital and edited by Ash Stone, By the Sea debuted in the summer of 2023, replacing the award-winning Red Roar as our official matchday programme.
Packed with interviews, photos and reports, the popular magazine placed 24th nationally in the annual Soccer Club Swap Shop Awards, topping the table in the Northern League after a second placed finish last season.
Pleased with such a success, Programme Editor Ash Stone (that’s me) argued it was a fantastic achievement for the club, praising FootiePrint for their remarkable contribution.
“I’m thrilled to better last year’s result at the Soccer Club Swap Shop Awards. It’s a fantastic feeling after yet another season of hard work, and not just for me.
“I would like to offer a massive thank you to our regular contributors. Thank you to Club Secretary Dave Edler, who never missed an issue, and added refreshing colour to the programme with his weekly column.
“Most importantly, thank you to James from FootiePrint. The sheer volume of his partner clubs recognised in these awards says more about his brilliance than I could word, and his efforts are deeply appreciated by this football club.”
