The right back becomes the latest to put pen to paper at the Hollou Sports Stadium.
Redcar Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of the highly-rated defender Dane Burlace following his exit from Spennymoor Town of National League North.
The talented right back puts pen to paper as boss Carl Jarrett’s seventh addition of the season, linking up with several former Bishop Auckland teammates in the red and navy.
On the books at Leeds United in his youth, Dane featured for many a Northern League club before making his name with the Bishops.
He proved a popular figure during his two year spell at Heritage Park, winning the league with the likes of Craig Gott, Danni Lay and JJ Bartliff in 2024.
Dane’s success with Bishop Auckland soon conjured a move to Spennymoor Town.
He served in the backline for six months having become Graeme Lee’s second signing, leaving in January in order to pursue work options abroad.
Now back in the UK and eager to return to the hallowed turf, Dane puts pen to paper with Redcar Athletic for our debut season in the Northern Premier League.
His ability on the ball, knowledge and experience will prove invaluable for the club, and boss Carl Jarrett is thrilled to see him finally don the red and navy.
“Dane is a massive addition to our squad.” He said. “I’m really happy to get him on board.
“He’s a player I have looked at for a few seasons, and I’m delighted to have him with us this season.”
Welcome to Redcar Athletic, Dane.
