The young defender becomes the latest addition to Carl Jarrett’s squad.
Redcar Athletic are pleased to confirm Mitchell Parkinson has penned a deal with the club following a successful period as a trialist.
The 18-year-old featured against the likes of Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United during pre-season preparations, and now puts pen to paper as our eight addition of the summer.
A talented young defender, Mitchell lined up against the Steelmen last season whilst on trial at Whitby Town.
He soon returned to Guisborough Town of the Northern League, where he spent the majority of the 2025/26 season.
Mitchell scored one goal for the Priorymen, but regularly impressed in the heart of the backline.
He joins Dane Burlace in putting pen to paper at the Hollou Sports Stadium this week, becoming our eighth addition of the summer following the likes of JJ Bartliff and Josh Mazfari.
All at Redcar Athletic are excited to see ‘Mitch’ in the red and navy, and pleased to have him onboard for what bodes an important campaign in our history.
