Who really are Guisborough Town? How do they match up with the Steelmen? Who’s likely to get the nod upfront from Gary Forster?

For a footballing breakdown of Green Lane’s most anticipated affair of the season, Ash Stone has you covered in the latest Match Preview.

An enticing encounter, balanced on a knife’s edge, Green Lane is promised yet another evening of unmissable non-league football.

With a high turnout expected, fans can opt to purchase their tickets in advance, and avoid long queuing times outside the ground.

On the day admission is also to be available at the turnstile.

The gates to Green Lane will open at 6:00pm, with the referee sounding the whistle to start the match at around 7:30pm.

Tickets are priced at £7 for adults, £4 for concessions, and £2 for u16s, and can be purchased at the gate with cash or card.

Redcar Athletic Membership holders should use the main turnstile as usual.

Parking at Green Lane is – as always – somewhat limited, but the surrounding areas are more than suited to accompany a large crowd both legally and respectfully.

Redcar Rugby Club have kindly opened their car park to spectators, at a £2 charge, whilst Headland Public Car Park on the Stray is just a short walk from the ground, offering plenty of extra spaces.

Please do not park on the streets, to help keep disruption to our neighbours to an absolute minimum.

With Christmas just around the corner, Redcar Athletic – like so many others – are dedicated to helping those in need.

As a football club, we recognise that too many people face a festive period void of the gifts lauded on social media, and we’re determined to keep up our efforts challenging issues that some face day-to-day.

We are urging fans attending tonight’s match to bring with them a gift, such as toy or a selection box, to make someone else happy at the most wonderful time of the year.

The town of Redcar has come together in support of those who need it countless times before, and here, on derby day, we are once again asking for the generosity of our non-league family to shine through.

Thank you for your continued support.
