Redcar Athletic Reserves continued their newfound good form, netting six past a struggling Great Ayton United.
Steve Simpkin’s men have come a long way from a sizeable losing streak across the turn of the year, rewriting their fortunes with a third win in just four games.
Under-23s star David Bradley took the plaudits for starting the rout, twice finding the net inside a stellar first half to see the Steelmen in at the break with the lead.
Substitute Cruz Benard similarly added a brace as play resumed, Brendon Bosha-Murwira following suit off the bench with a goal of his own.
Lewis Barwick – also of the Under-23s – capped off the performance, taking the tally to six to mark the Reserves’ finest result of the year to date.
Desperate the end the season strong, Steve Simpkin’s men have one last hurdle in their path, high-flying TIBS FC the visitors next week in a campaign finale.
