The Redcar boss offers the latest team news ahead of Friday night football.
Carl Jarrett offered an update on his squad ahead of our Friday night Northern League bout with Northallerton Town.
It’s one of only two league games to come at the B&D Interiors Stadium in the final run-in, as Redcar sit three points clear ahead of Shildon with six matches to go.
There was welcome news in midfield, as Mark Anderson is poised to return from suspension.
The former Spennymoor man received the first red card of his career in a 3-1 win against Birtley Town, reacting to a poor challenge which went unpunished.
Jarrett also teased the return of Kevin Burgess, whilst expressing doubt over Joe Taylor, who pulled out of the warm-up last Saturday with an injury.
“I’ve got Mark Anderson back,” the boss confirmed. “That is fantastic news.
“I think I’ve got Kevin Burgess fully fit at the present minute, too. He’s been back on the bench.
“It is looking okay. I don’t think we’ve got anyone missing. Joe Taylor is maybe a little bit of a doubt, but other than that, we’re ready to go.
“Fingers crossed, we can give everyone something to cheer about, and get the three points that we need.”
