MONDAY

Weetabix Wildcats and Squad Girls | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 6-8pm

As part of our ongoing bid to enhance footballing opportunities for young girls in the Redcar and East Cleveland area, we have both Weetabix Wildcats and Squad Girls sessions available at Green Lane.

FA accredited, fun filled sessions, delivered by approved and qualified coaches, these sessions offer a fantastic experience for young girls to build confidence and make friends, all whilst having a kick about!

Weetabix Wildcats:

Girls aged 5-11
Monday 18:00-19:00

WEDNESDAY

Watch England vs Netherlands | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 5pm

The Euro 2024 semifinals are here, and after a historic penalty shootout victory over Switzerland, the Three Lions are part of the final four.

England face the Netherlands in Dortmund at 8pm on Wednesday 10th July, with Green Lane set to screen the momentous occasion from the unique atmosphere of a teepee.

THURSDAY

Team Talk Bacon Butty Mornings | Green Lane TS10 3RW | 10am-12pm

Team Talk is a wonderful, community group that aims to bring people together to tackle loneliness and isolation.

Each week, the clubhouse at Green Lane hosts a small gathering wanting to enjoy each other’s company, have meaningful conversations, and take part in fun activities.

The morning is headlined by delicious bacon buns, and other refreshments, leading into physical activities like beach walks, walking football, boules, or even a quiz on rainy days.

Gary Walton of MFC Foundation, the event organiser, commented: “It’s a great way to connect with others, stay active, and have a good time.”

Billingham Town vs Redcar Athletic | North Shore Academy, TS20 2AY | 7:30pm

Redcar Athletic’s pre-season preparations continue on Thursday evening, as Billingham Town play host at North Shore Academy in Stockton.

The Steelmen’s second public pre-season outing, Carl Jarrett’s side will look to build on two positive results, a 2-1 victory over Redcar Town, and a draw behind-closed-doors against a professional outfit.

On Saturday afternoon, Carl Jarrett and his side retake to the hallowed turf at Green Lane, Northern Premier League Whitby Town the opponents in a pre-season spectacular.
