Athletic boast second largest social media growth in the Ebac Northern League.
As the dust settles on yet another campaign in the Ebac Northern League Division One, new data points to a RECORD growth on social media for Redcar Athletic FC.
The club have gained just short of 1000 followers on ‘X’ since the start of the season, second only to eventual playoff champions, Heaton Stanninton.
According to statistics published by Non-League Data, the Steelmen’s ‘X’ profile grew by 956 followers during the 2023/24 season, the most in such time since the club’s inception.
The monumental growth took the Steelmen beyond 6000 followers just last September, a feat made possible only by the impeccable support of the town, both on and off the field.
On such an achievement, Media Officer Ash Stone (that’s me) said: “It’s always nice to see the club do well online.”
“I put a lot of time and effort into making our social media presence seem both professional and engaging, and it’s something I really enjoy.”
“I’m proud of what we have achieved this year, but next year, I want us – and I know we can – to do even better!”
Thank you, from all at Redcar Athletic, for your support this season. It has been appreciated beyond words.
