The midfielder completes a move from Whitby Town to join the Steelmen.
Redcar Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced midfielder Priestley Griffiths from Whitby Town.
The 28-year-old follows Callum Guy and Jake Stott in penning a deal with the club during the season, further bolstering Carl Jarrett’s options in the middle of the park.
A regular in the Northern Premier League with Whitby Town, Priestley Keithley – known as Griffiths – began his footballing journey at Rockcliffe Hall.
The defensive midfielder left Middlesbrough in a move towards non-professional football with Spennymoor Town, soon taking his career to Iceland where he represented IBV Vestmannaeyjar in the Second Division.
Priestley’s English return came at Croft Park with Blyth Spartans, before he settled at The Turnbull Ground in 2021.

A gifted midfielder, Priestley brings both a wealth of experience and class to Redcar Athletic, as he’s demonstrated for years at a higher level.
Another statement addition, Carl Jarrett was delighted to see the deal over the line, praising his newest midfielder as a fantastic signing.
