The Steelmen will travel to the Calverts Stadium in the North Riding Senior Cup.
Redcar Athletic have today been drawn away to Northallerton Town in the second round of the North Riding Senior Cup.
The tie will take place at Northallerton’s Calverts Stadium before the 30th November, with further details to be revealed at a later date.
The Steelmen were drawn at home to Division Two outfit Thornaby at this stage of the competition last season, winning by four clear goals on a march to equal their best finish in the final four.
Northallerton Town will be the first opposition of the same level or higher Redcar Athletic have faced in the second round for a number of years, Redcar Town and Kader their previous adversaries.
A date for the tie is yet to be agreed, and so further information will be revealed in the coming weeks.
