The forward netted a brace, and scooped a hat-trick of assists against the Sky Blues.
Dave McTiernan hailed the efforts of Adam Boyes in Redcar’s brutal demolition of Carlisle City on Saturday afternoon.
The forward scooped the Player of the Match award with a sensational display, directly involved in five of the Steelmen’s emphatic eight-goal haul.
Suffering somewhat of a goal drought over the turn of the year, Adam Boyes turned provider in the first half against the Sky Blues.
Oscar Fletcher opened the scoring, before Boyes laid on for both Mark Anderson and Bradley Fewster come the halfway mark.
The forward netted a brace of his own when play resumed, and still had time to feed his former Seasiders strike partner, Curtis Round, for a hat-trick of assists.
Dave McTiernan admitted he was delighted for Adam Boyes, labelling the former Marske United man a ‘great team player’.
“I spoke to ‘Boysie’ before the game.” He said.
“I told him it will drop for him. He just needed to keep working hard, and to keep being a team player. That he does.
“His attitude is first class. The first two goals with his assists were fantastic. He’s got himself a couple of tap-ins as well.
“Massive credit to him today.”
