The shot-stopper returns to his parent club after a record-breaking season.
Redcar Athletic can confirm Josh Mazfari has returned to Hartlepool United upon the expiration of his year-long loan deal.
The shot-stopper played an intrinsic role in the club’s Northern League title triumph, keeping a staggering 27 clean sheets across all competitions.
Signed on loan from the National League outfit at the beginning of the season, Josh quickly rose to popularity amongst the Redcar faithful with his fast footwork and quicker reflexes.
He made 49 appearances between the sticks – only bettered by Nathan Guru outfield – keeping an incredible 27 clean sheets, and conceding only 21 times during league play.
All involved at Redcar Athletic would like to thank Josh Mazfari for his efforts this season. His involvement in our success cannot be overstated.
If this is to be the end, thank you. For everything.
