Tadcaster Albion forward joins the Steelmen on dual registration.
Redcar Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of young forward, Joe Dixon, from Tadcaster Albion.
The 19-year-old joins the Steelmen on a dual registration with the Brewers, where he plied his trade since returning from Scotland in the autumn.
A short but illustrious career kickstarted in the youth set-up at Middlesbrough, Dixon enjoyed subsequent spells at both Hull City and Harrogate Town.
The forward first featured at a senior level for fellow Teessiders, Billingham Synthonia, before moving further north to join then Scottish League One side, Airdrieonians.
Dixon made seven appearances in the Scottish Lowland League at the start of the current season, representing Gretna, before opting to return to his home country in November.
Clocking up a catalogue of experience at such a young age, Dixon proves a worthy addition to bolster Gary Forster’s attacking line, and another fine talent to protect the club’s future.
It’s good to have you with us, Joe!
Joe Dixon joined the Steelmen as the first of a pair of Christmas additions, making substitute appearances against both Shildon, and Boro Rangers.
The forward was joined by Hartlepool United midfielder, Leo Robinson, who links up with his father – First Team Coach Mark Robinson – on work experience.
