The Redcar boss confirmed ‘Sparky’ will miss Tuesday’s bout, as numbers on the sidelines build.
Deep into the season, Redcar Athletic are in the midst of somewhat of a mounting injury crisis, as Mark Anderson becomes the latest name to join the sick bay.
Carl Jarrett confirmed the midfielder suffered a twinge to his hamstring during the first half of the Steelmen’s 4-0 win over Whickham, and the extent of which is yet to be determined.
Anderson joins Anthony Bell and Danny Boyle in the physio’s books, a loss Jarrett admitted would be hard to take.
“It’s a little tweak in his hamstring.” The boss said.
“We’ll have to assess him before Tuesday night.”
”Honestly, I don’t think he’ll be ready for the ‘midweeker,’ and probably not for Saturday either.”
The midfielder isn’t the only name the First Team Manager added to the list of confirmed absentees, noting that Adam Wheatley and Liam O’Sullivan also remained doubts.
Jack Harrison is another who remains unavailable, the young midfielder unable to feature since Jarrett’s ascension.
