“I just do everything I can to help the team win.“
A keen forward with a decorated career, Brad Fewster becomes the third summer addition to Carl Jarrett’s Redcar Athletic.
Raring to get going on July 27th, he spoke to Head of Media Ash Stone about his drive for success, both by finding the back of the net, and supporting his teammates.
Clinical, proven, and well travelled, Brad brings a wealth of talent and experience to Redcar Athletic.
The 28-year-old refined his game in the academy at Rockliffe Hall, donning the Three Lions’ iconic white strip across four years of youth internationals.
Now facing the next chapter of his illustrious career, Brad labelled Redcar the right step to take, both praising those at the club, and relishing in the chance to ‘feel valued.’
“The club is full of good people who I’ve been close to for a long time.” He said.
“With that, the opportunity to play and feel valued will lead to success I’m sure.
“I really want to help bring success for my team mates, the staff who have brought me here, and the supporters who pay to watch.”
Quizzed on his own personal traits as a footballer, Brad admitted his goalscoring prowess wasn’t all he wanted to be known for.
The forward shared a desire to support the team, and those around him, offering that winning was the only importance.
“I suppose I’m known for being a goalscorer,” Brad said, “but I know I’m much more than that.”
“I just do everything I can to help the team win.
“I was at my last club for a long time, so I’m looking forward to this new challenge, a fresh start, and hoping for the best to come.”
