The midfielder became the fifth Redcar man to claim a treble this season.
Acting boss Dave McTiernan applauded an ‘outstanding’ Mark Anderson in a five-goal thrashing of local rivals Marske United.
The midfielder became the fifth Redcar man to claim a treble since the start of the campaign, joining Bradley Fewster, Oscar Fletcher, Adam Boyes and Jake Stott in the hat-trick club.
It was Mark Anderson himself who opened the scoring, lobbing Oli Swan with a delightful first-touch finish.
Adam Boyes laid on for the midfielder’s second of the evening, before he clinched his hat-trick with a devastating strike into the near stanchion.
Goals from Bradley Fewster and Oscar Fletcher completed the rout.
Pleased with Mark Anderson’s performance, Assistant Manager Dave McTiernan labelled the midfielder “outstanding”.
He said: “He’s got bags of experience, but he took all of those goals brilliantly.”
“He’s technically very gifted. Everyone knows ‘Sparky,’ he’s very good at the technical aspect of the game.
“He’s scored three fantastic goals tonight, and I’m delighted for him!”
