We can confirm the rearrangement of two Redcar Athletic fixtures, and the potential addition of another.

Due to the postponement of the sheduled Isuzu FA Vase first round match on Saturday, the Steelmen will now play Silsden this coming Saturday (28th). The game will remain a 3pm kick-off.

That means the league fixture against Carlisle City, initially intended to take place on the 28th, has found a new date. We’ll now make the trip to Cumbria on Saturday November 4th and the game will kick off at 3pm.

Meanwhile, should the Steelmen defeat Silsden in the first round of the Isuzu FA Vase, they’ll face a trip to Manchester-based Abbey Hey.

The draw was released this afternoon, with all second round ties to be played on Saturday 11th November.

Redcar Athletic needs you!

Our game against Silsden may have been pushed back a week due to Storm Babet, but we still need your support as we look to make history at Green Lane.

Should Gary Forster’s side pass a stern test against Silsden and progress through to the second round proper, it will mark the furthest the club have gone in the competition.

It’s a huge incentive and one that we’d love to be strengthened even further by the a bumper crowd at the Lane. So, if you’re around the area on Saturday, get yourselves through our turnstile for Saturday afternoon cup action.

Entry is £7 adults, £4 concessions and £2 under-16s.
