Energy Direct Group partner as official sleeve sponsor

The commercial energy specialists will feature on the Steelmen’s sleeves from this season.

Redcar Athletic are delighted to name Energy Direct Group as the club’s official sleeve sponsor for the 2024/25 season.

The Teesside-based commercial energy specialists will see their name plastered across the sleeve of both a new home and away shirt, set to be available to supporters from early July.

Energy Direct Group Director Alex Ersoz spoke to Redcar Athletic Club Director Ryan McKnight on the new partnership.

Committed to both driving down energy costs and delivering carbon neutrality, Energy Direct Group work within the commercial space, saving businesses across the UK thousands on their utility bills since 2020.

A team of dedicated specialists, the group apply a personal touch to energy procurement, offering tailored strategies constructed through conversation, with a focus on sustainability, as well as cost-efficiency.

Founded locally, Energy Direct Group are existing sponsors of the football club, this year expanding their partnership to see their brand proudly displayed across the sleeves of both a new home and away shirt.

Commenting on the partnership, Club Director Ryan McKnight said: “Alex and his team are another Teesside success story, disrupting the energy broker industry and creating new opportunities here in Redcar and Cleveland.”
