Thank you, Redcar, for your incredible generosity.
Redcar Athletic are thrilled to confirm our second annual Dave Peacock Memorial Cup raised a staggering £2’553.55.
The funds will be put towards a new bladder scanner at James Cook University Hospital.
In tandem with the family of the late Dave Peacock Snr, £6’833.55 has been amassed to date through regular fundraising, well over halfway to the £10’000 target set.
The funds would allow James Cook Hospital to purchase a second bladder scanner, a key piece of equipment necessary should the existing device be out of service.
Steve Simpkin, the man behind such a successful and enjoyable afternoon, said: “Thank you to everyone who attended, and to those who donated.”
“It was another show of fantastic generosity.”
Please keep an eye on our social media channels for more events to come later in the calendar year.
