The young shot-stopper becomes the eighth to put pen to paper this summer.
Redcar Athletic are pleased to confirm the signing of promising young goalkeeper, Ben Taylor.
The 19-year-old joins the club having impressed during pre-season preparations, making a number of successful appearances as a trialist.

Starring between the sticks in the absence of Josh Mazfari, Ben caught the eyes of Carl Jarrett with a number of stunning saves, not least a spectacular double stop from the penalty spot against Billingham Town.
The young shot-stopper clocked minutes throughout the course of pre-season, also featuring against the likes of Redcar Town, and Thornaby, where he kept a clean sheet.

Impressed by Ben’s quality at just 19 years of age, Carl Jarrett was quick to offer the teen a deal with the club, arguing he more than deserved the opportunity.
“Ben has been great since coming into the club.” Jarrett said.
“He’s had some great performances during pre-season, and he more than deserves to be here.”
Welcome to the Steelmen, Ben.
