Redcar Athletic Under-23s made it into the semi finals of the Terry May League Cup with a comeback win against The Fox Inn.
The home side were forced to play with 10 men for 75 minutes after having a player sent off.
Athletic started the game well with Jack Williams slotting in Tom Newton, but the Fox keeper saved well.
Tom came even closer to scoring on 11 minutes when he was fouled and took the resulting free kick, which hit the bar.
With half time approaching, the home side took the lead when a pinpoint corner was powered home by The Fox Inn centre back.
Athletic made two substitutes at half time which saw them become more attacking.
After substitute Adil Hanif set up Tom Newton, who tried to chip the keeper, Athletic equalised when Tom Newton set up Jack Williams, who curled a lovely shot into the far corner.
It was 2-1 to Redcar on 68 minutes, when a cross from David Bradley caused chaos in the Fox Inn defence, and substitute Cam Thomson was on hand to score the rebound.
It was 3-1 on 75 minutes when Cam Thomson sent Adil Hanif clear, and the striker finished well.
It was game over on 85 minutes, when Marshall Blackburn played a lovely through ball to Cam Thomson, who timed his run to perfection and beat the keeper with ease.
The Fox Inn pulled a goal back on the final whistle with the goal of the game, as the right back strode forward and found the top corner from 25 yards.
