The stand-in boss offered an assessment of Curtis Round, JJ Bartliff and John Howard.
Assistant manager Dave McTiernan says it was a tweaked hamstring that forced Curtis Round off the field of play during the first half at the UTS Stadium.
The forward assisted Bradley Fewster for the opening goal, but was soon forcibly withdrawn having gone to ground in some discomfort.
In his Post-Match Presser with First Team Secretary Dave Edler, McTiernan confirmed Curtis was removed as a precaution once he felt a tweak in his hamstring.
The assistant boss was unable to provide a timeline for the former Blyth Spartans man, who could join JJ Bartliff and John Howard on the sidelines.
“It looks like he’s tweaked his hamstring.” Dave McTiernan said.
“With all the injuries we have at the minute we have to take precautions, so we just brought him off.
“We’ll assess him. There’s a couple of days until Pickering (Town) in the Emirates FA Cup. We’ll have to wait and see.”
The stand-in boss also offered an update on the absences of midfield duo Bartliff and Howard.
Both were forced off in separate games with Guisborough Town in the Emirates FA Cup, with John potentially to face a lengthy period on the sidelines.
“JJ has a bit of a pull in his groin.” He said. “Saturday just came too soon for him.
“John’s rolled his ankle. It’ll be a sore one for a couple of weeks. We couldn’t assess him until the swelling went down.
“Hopefully, he won’t be out for too long, but again, we’ll have to wait and see.”
