Redcar Athletic will host Northern League compatriots North Shields in the Third Round of the Isuzu FA Vase.
The tie will take place at Green Lane on the weekend of Saturday 7th December, with further details to follow in due course.
The tie is one of two to pit together two Northern League sides – as Crook Town host Carlisle – confirming a pair of clubs will represent the division in this year’s Fourth Round.
The draw also marks the continuation of Redcar Athletic’s greatest ever performance in the Isuzu FA Vase, twice before falling short in the First Round Proper.
Redcar Athletic have already faced North Shields once this season, dealt a first league defeat at the Daren Persson Stadium in September.
Progression in the competition also puts paid to a scheduled trip to Frenchfield Park to face Penrith, now pencilled for Tuesday 17th December.
