Brad Fewster gave his thoughts on a 4-0 win over West Auckland Town.
Two games. Four goals. There’s no stopping Redcar Athletic’s Bradley Fewster as the Northern League season begins.
The forward bagged another brace this evening against West Auckland Town, opening the scoring from the spot, before lobbing Nick Liversedge in some style.
On an incredible hot streak of form, Brad told Head of Media Ash Stone scoring just seems to come naturally, labelling ‘winning’ as all that matters to him.
“I’m feeling good.” He said. “I’m happy. Happy to get on the scoresheet, happy to win.”
“It’s all about winning, that’s why I’m here at the end of the day. I just want to come and win.
“The goals, for me, it’s just what happens when I play. I know I can score goals, so when I play, I just relax.”
Quizzed on the high standard of performance he and the Steelmen have set in the opening pair of fixtures, Brad labelled the team as ‘dominant,’ praising the efforts of both this evening, and Saturday.
“Just outstanding.” Brad said. “On Saturday and today. I just think we looked strong all over.”
“We’ve got loads of experience in the team, loads of legs in the team, and we just looked dominant.
“Hopefully, we can continue that.”
