Redcar Athletic are thrilled to confirm the arrival of Craig Gott from Bishop Auckland.
The experienced midfielder becomes Carl Jarrett’s second addition of the 2024/25 season, penning a one-year deal with the club.
Boasting a wealth of experience, and four Northern League titles to his name, Craig Gott’s illustrious career began at the Brewery Field.
Clinching his first title with Spennymoor Town, the midfielder soon linked up with new boss Carl Jarrett at Marske United, where he truly carved his legacy.
Gott twice raised the Northern League trophy in Seasiders’ yellow, enjoying a couple of seasons in the Northern Premier League, before returning to Step Five football with Bishop Auckland.
Delighted to once again work with ‘Gotty’ in the red and navy, Carl Jarrett labelled the experienced midfielder an outstanding addition to the squad, praising his work-ethic, and ability.
“Gotty is an unbelievable signing for Redcar!” The boss remarked.
“He is a total winner in every game he plays in. He never drops his standards, and will be a massive part of what we do this season.
“I am really delighted to be back working with him again.”
