The talismanic forward has committed to the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
It’s official, Adam Boyes has signed a new contract to commit the next year of his illustrious career to Redcar Athletic.
The forward will now remain with the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Signed from the ashes of Marske United’s Northern Premier League side, the former Seasiders’ legend commits his future to Green Lane to continue the latest chapter in his footballing legacy.
Responsible for 18 goals in just 17 appearances last term, Adam Boyes believes has plenty more to offer in the red and navy of Redcar Athletic.
On penning a new deal with the club, Boyes claimed his decision was ‘easy,’ both impressed by the ambition on show, and the fantastic support from the terraces.
“Staying at Redcar for the upcoming season was such an easy decision to make.” He said.
“The ambition shown from the club last season, and the warm welcome from the supporters, and people connected with the club, made it easy to choose to stay.
“(I’ve got) the chance to play under Carl and Macca, who are not only my good mates, but they know how get the best out of me on the pitch.
“I’m raring to go.”
Adam’s delight at donning the red and navy for another year was equally matched by his boss, who had high praise for the clinical number nine.
On Adam’s commitment to the club, Carl Jarrett said: “I’m delighted to have boysie on board for another year.”
“He’s a pure goal machine, and a team player too.
“He’s also just a great lad to have around the club!”
