Whitby Town booked the first spot in a LNER Community Stadium final.
The Steelmen’s WOODSmith Construction Senior Cup journey continues as March draws to a close, with a spot to face Whitby Town in the final up for grabs.
Redcar Athletic host Boro Rangers on Tuesday 26th March in the competition semifinals, the last of which before the elusive final bout at the LNER Community Stadium in April.
Redcar last reached the semi-finals of the Senior Cup in 2022, bowing out before a rapturous Green Lane at the hands of then Northern Premier League outfit, Scarborough Athletic.
The prize for seeing off the challenge of Boro Rangers would be a date with Whitby Town, who sealed their spot in the final with a narrow penalty shootout victory over Guisborough Town.
The Seasiders have three times beaten the Steelmen this season, all outside of the boundaries of competitive football.
