Former captain departs for local rivals.
Redcar Athletic would like to wish the very best to Adam Wheatley, who this week completed a move to Teesside counterparts, Guisborough Town.
The Steelmen’s fifth summer signing of 2023, Adam made 18 appearances in the red and navy, struggling for game time in a season marred by an unwelcome injury.
His limited outings included steadfast performances in both the Northern League, and the Isuzu FA Vase, last representing the club in a WOODSmith Construction Senior Cup victory over Richmond Town.
Everyone involved with Redcar Athletic would like to thank Adam for his contributions to the club, and wish him the best in all of his future endeavours.
Go well, Adam.
