MONDAY

Weetabix Wildcats and Squad Girls | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 6-8pm

As part of our ongoing bid to enhance footballing opportunities for young girls in the Redcar and East Cleveland area, we have both Weetabix Wildcats and Squad Girls sessions available at Green Lane.

FA accredited, fun filled sessions, delivered by approved and qualified coaches, these sessions offer a fantastic experience for young girls to build confidence and make friends, all whilst having a kick about!

Weetabix Wildcats:

Girls aged 5-11
Monday 18:00-19:00

Squad Girls:

TUESDAY

Redcar Athletic Ladies Open Training | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 6-7:30pm

A new season dawns for Redcar Athletic Ladies, and manager Mathew Gibson is on the hunt for new talent.

Those interested are requested to turn up to our open training sessions, held from 6-7:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10-12:30pm on Sundays.

Redcar Athletic vs West Auckland Town | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 7:30pm

Redcar Athletic’s Northern League campaign continues in equally tough fashion, play-off unfortunates West Auckland Town the visitors to Green Lane in a Tuesday night spectacular.

Bidding to build on a thrilling 4-0 opening day victory over Kendal Town, come and back the Steelmen once again, and let’s turn our cosy little ground on the Redcar seafront into a fortress.

Doors open from 6pm, with admission £7 for adults, £4 for concessions, and £2 for under-16s.

WEDNESDAY

Redcar Athletic Reserves vs Billingham Town Reserves | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 7:30pm

Our Reserves’ pre-season journey continues this week, Danny Todd’s side pit against their second challenger in Billingham Town Reserves.

The action begins on Pitch Two (located to the left of the main pitch) at 7:30pm, with admission FREE.

THURSDAY

Team Talk Bacon Butty Mornings | Green Lane, TS10 3RW | 10am-12pm

Team Talk is a wonderful, community group that aims to bring people together to tackle loneliness and isolation.

Each week, the clubhouse at Green Lane hosts a small gathering wanting to enjoy each other’s company, have meaningful conversations, and take part in fun activities.

The morning is headlined by delicious bacon buns, and other refreshments, leading into physical activities like beach walks, walking football, boules, or even a quiz on rainy days.

Gary Walton of MFC Foundation, the event organiser, commented: “It’s a great way to connect with others, stay active, and have a good time.”

Can’t make Tuesday night’s training session?

Not to worry, our Ladies have three bouts of training a week, and new players are more than welcome at all three.

SATURDAY

Consett vs Redcar Athletic | Belle View Stadium, DH8 7BF | 3pm

The most prestigious domestic cup competition on Earth, the Emirates FA Cup begins this Saturday.

Redcar Athletic have been drawn away to fellow Steelmen, Consett, in the Extra-Preliminary Round, the Northern Premier League East outfit the toughest competitor of the season so far.
