The Colliers beat Shildon in the Brooks Mileson Memorial Cup final on Easter Monday.
Redcar Athletic will face Easington Colliery in the JR Cleator Cup to kick-off the 2025/26 Northern League season.
The match is traditionally contested between the champions of Division One and the Brooks Mileson Memorial Cup winners, and will take place at Green Lane on Saturday 19th July.
Easington Colliery picked themselves up from Saturday’s defeat to beat Shildon by three goals to one in the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup final.
Two late goals from Luke Pearn clinched the silverware, after Shildon’s Ben Reay struck to cancel out Dylan Elliot’s early opener.
The Colliers will now visit Green Lane to open their next Northern League campaign, whilst it will serve as a farewell for Redcar Athletic, who a month later begin life in the Northern Premier League.
