The left-sided defender joins the Steelmen from fellow Northern League side, Northallerton.
Redcar Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of young defender, Charlie Graham.
The 22-year-old links up with Carl Jarrett’s squad for the remainder of the season from Northern League compatriots, Northallerton Town.
Both strong and versatile, Charlie made his name on the left side of defence, impressing in two spells at The Calvert Stadium since 2018.
The 22-year-old comes well-travelled across Teesside, representing neighbours Guisborough Town and Thornaby to garner an in-depth understanding of the Northern League, and especially the first division.
Excited to be a part of Carl Jarrett’s plans here at Green Lane, Charlie expressed his willingness to help Redcar climb the table in the latter stages of the campaign.
“I’m delighted to sign for this club with such ambition.” Charlie said.
“I can’t wait to get started, and hopefully help the team progress up the table.”
Adept both in a fullback role, or in the centre, Charlie is bound to add both quality and depth to what the Redcar boss already describes as a ‘strong squad.’
Keen to see the 22-year-old onboard, Jarrett commented: “Charlie is a player who I have watched over the last few years.”
“He comes very highly recommended.
“He’s a young lad who wants to push on and learn, and will bring good strength in defence.”
We’re glad to have you with us, Charlie.
