Crown our best strike from the month of October.
Five games, five wins. Redcar Athletic were more clinical than pretty back in October.
Netting eighteen goals, we’ve whittled it down to four contenders for our latest Goal of the Month.
Option A
BRADLEY FEWSTER
vs Carlisle City
Fewster gets the credit for this one, but it’s the work of Danni Lay and Jack Blackford that puts it on our October shortlist (sorry Brad).
A delicate through ball, a deadly burst of pace, and an adept finish to match.
Option B
BRADLEY FEWSTER
vs Whickham
This one is all ‘Bradders.’
One goal already to his name in the driving rain at Green Lane, a deflected effort from Mark Anderson sits nicely in his path, and it’s some finish to beat Matty Wilkinson.
Option C
MARK ANDERSON
vs Whickham
There’s never an average goal from the boot of Mark Anderson.
The midfielder has a go from range against an already trailing Whickham, and it’s just the sort of finish that you can’t keep out.
Option D
CALLUM GUY
vs Newcastle Blue Star
Some strike.
It’s the second half in a thought contest with a close contender for promotion. Dan Lanning has just reduced the deficit, and Green Lane is tense.
Enter stage left, Callum Guy.
