The midfielder has signed a further one-year deal with the club.
Popular midfielder Mark Anderson has become the latest to commit his future to Redcar Athletic following our historic promotion to the Northern Premier League East.
The former Spennymoor man has agreed a one-year extension to his current deal, keeping him at the club until May 2026.

One of Carl Jarrett’s first additions to the squad, ‘Sparky’ has proved a pivotal figure following his move during the 2023/24 season.
A constant voice on the pitch, he contributed 15 goals and 11 assists to our title-winning campaign, making a half century of appearances (52) since last March.
As we enter a new chapter in our history, the club are delighted to see Mark pen a new deal, extending his stay until May 2026.
One man thrilled to have Mark Anderson involved in his Northern Premier League conquest was Carl Jarrett, who labelled the midfielder a ‘great leader.’
He said: “It’s great to have ‘Sparky’ back for another year after his assists and goals last season.
“He’s a great leader around the club.”
It’s good to have your support, ‘Sparky’.
