The forward departs the Redcar seafront after a fruitful four months.

Redcar Athletic can confirm Liam Jarvie has today left the club by mutual consent.

The 29-year-old makes the switch in favour of his former side, Newton Aycliffe, following a recent transfer request.

Both energetic and persistent, Liam was a joy to watch on the Redcar seafront, contributing to no end during his short four month stay.

The forward netted nine times across a mere 16 appearances, furthering his tally with an impressive seven assists, second only to Isaac Walker in each category.

Liam consistently grabbed the headlines during his time at the club, wrapping up a first-half hat-trick to spark a record thrashing of Newcastle Benfield, whilst facing the wrath of the fans in the third instalment of Ask the Steelmen.

Everyone involved at Redcar Athletic would like to thank Liam for his efforts, and wish him the very best in all of his future endeavours.

Good luck in the Northern Premier League East, Liam!
