The boss looks ahead to Saturday’s trip the Gateway Park.
Carl Jarrett said Blyth Town will offer a stern test for his title-fighting Steelmen, albeit made confident by the return of Curtis Round.
The boss praised the Northumberland outfit for their efforts in what’s come of league play, pleased to take a full squad to Gateway Park in the face of such a potent opposition.

A positive start to life in Division One, but three blemishes on their record leave Blyth Town a place below Redcar Athletic in third.
Once in touch with the Steelmen, defeat to Marske United and a point against Whitley Bay made for a five point discrepancy, the Northumberland outfit unable to claw back the difference even in victory.
Still, the Redcar boss believes his squad will be in for a tough test at Gateway Park, adding that Blyth‘s stellar league position reflects the quality scattered throughout their ranks.
“It’ll be a difficult game against Blyth (Town) on Saturday.” Jarrett said. “Obviously they’re sat up there for a reason.”
“We’ve done our homework. I had a scout out watching them on Tuesday night. We had a look how we’re going to set up on Thursday.

“We won’t really change the way we’re going to play, it’ll be personnel that are going to drop in and drop out. I’ve got some tired bodies that have been asked to play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday.
“Curtis Round will be back, so that strengthens us again. Hopefully I’ll have a full squad, so we’ll go up there in good spirits.”
Quizzed on his approach to such an important fixture, Jarrett maintained that it was a game his side would want to win, adding that no task is too big when bodies are fit.
He said: “It’ll be a game that we want to try and win. That’s what we try to do every game.”
“We know it’ll be difficult at their place, it’ll be a hard ask, but it’s nothing that we can’t achieve if we go up there with a full squad.
“It will be tough, but it’s one that we’re really looking forward to.”
