The young shot-stopper was one of three to miss the trip to Tyneside through injury.
Redcar Athletic can confirm both Josh Mazfari and Oscar Fletcher picked up injuries in the days leading to our defeat at the MKM Stadium.
The pair joined Kevin Burgess on the sidelines, the captain himself out of action since victory over Newcastle Blue Star in October.
For Josh Mazfari, a groin injury saw him ruled out of our trip to Tyneside, one which may see him sidelined for a further two weeks.
The young shot-stopper will continue to work with both the club and Hartlepool United in order to return to fitness as soon as is safe and feasible.
Ben Taylor took on the mantle for his first Northern League appearance on Saturday afternoon, his third competitive start for the club.
Oscar Fletcher also missed the weekend’s action having taken a knock during our Boxing Day derby with Marske United.
His return, much like captain Kevin Burgess, is expected early in the new year, but otherwise yet unknown.
