Redcar Athletic’s Josh Mazfari scooped national acclaim this week, topping the charts for number of clean sheets across the English Football Pyramid.
The 19-year-old has claimed a sensational ELEVEN shutouts in just nineteen appearances, conceding a league fewest twelve goals.
Three months into a work experience loan from Hartlepool United, Josh Mazfari has proved a welcome addition to Carl Jarrett’s ranks.
The shot-stopper began his career in the red and navy on the best possible footing, holding title-rivals Kendal Town and West Auckland Town to a duck.
Nine following clean sheets leave the 19-year-old tied with Horbury Town of the North East Counties League Division One at the top of the charts, Thornaby, York City and Emley also featured in the top ten.
