A Boro XI will visit the Redcar seafront to complete our pre-season campaign.
Redcar Athletic are pleased to confirm six pre-season friendlies in preparation for our debut in the Northern Premier League East.
A visit from a Middlesbrough XI will headline our campaign, which concludes with the Northern League’s season opener – the JR Cleator Cup – against Easington Colliery, and a visit to Whitby Town’s Turnbull Ground.
The Steelmen return to action after their summer celebrations on Saturday 5th July. Our Redcar neighbours will be the visitors on the day, joining us in raising money in memory of the late Matty Graham, who played for both before his untimely passing.
Thursday 10th July brings a Middlesbrough XI to the Hollou Sports Stadium. Tickets are on sale for this fixture, and expected to sell out in advance of the game.
Two days pass before Carl Jarrett’s men take their pre-season preparations to Thornaby (Saturday 12th July). It’s then back to the Redcar seafront to face National League outfit, Hartlepool United, on Tuesday 15th July.
The JR Cleator Cup brings Easington Colliery face-to-face with the Steelmen once more in the Northern League’s season opener (Saturday 19th July), before a trip to Whitby Town’s Turnbull Ground precedes the start of the season on Saturday 26th July.

TICKETS
Online tickets have been made available for both our home ties against Middlesbrough and Hartlepool United.
Supporters can buy their admission through our new ticketing page, to avoid both queues and disappointment at the turnstile on the evening.
Tickets for both games will cost £8 for adults and £5 for concession. Season Ticket Holders will be admitted for FREE, as will under-16s.
