The latest team news from Carl Jarrett as Fewster and Griffiths are sidelined.
Redcar Athletic could be without Bradley Fewster and Priestley Griffiths when they face Newcastle Blue Star on Saturday afternoon.
The duo picked up respective injuries during a goalless draw with Seaham Red Star at the weekend, now a considerable doubt for action at the KD Stadium.
Bradley Fewster took a knock to the calf in the first half, forced to make way for Olly Cann at the interval.
Priestley Griffiths was then brought down in the box unpunished, and forced to hobble off the field, where he was replaced by a recently recovered Joe Taylor.
Frustrated to lose a pair of key players before such a big game, Carl Jarrett said: “Brad (Fewster) has had a tweak on his calf. It’s not too bad but he couldn’t really run on it.
“(Priestley Griffiths) I’m not sure about. I didn’t see what happened to him on Saturday. I’m hoping that nothing is wrong but it would be our luck.
“We’ll have to asses them. We’ve trained on Tuesday, tried to give them all as much time as possible to get back on their feet again.”
