Redcar Athletic 4-0 Whickham
Bradley Fewster, Danni Lay and Mark Anderson left their mark as Redcar Athletic beat Whickham.
The boss argued the experiment was well-founded, praising the forward for both his involvement in the game, his work rate, as his finishing.
“Brad’s playing a different role at the present minute.” He said. “He’s not sitting up top with (Adam Boyes).”
“We’ve dropped him into the ‘number ten role,’ and he seems to be on the ball a lot more. He’s involved in everything.
“He’s technically a very, very good football player, and he’s loving life at Redcar at the minute.”
On his performance against the Lang Jacks, Carl added that work on the training ground showed in his second finish.
“He scored two good goals (on Saturday).” Jarrett said.
“The second one, you might not have realised, but the lad has been working on that in training. That set play.
“It was a great finish by the way.
“He’s doing really well. He’s fitting in nicely with the squad. I can’t ask for anymore out of him really.”
