Adam Boyes’ third goal against Carlisle City was Redcar’s fiftieth of the season.
Last Tuesday, Redcar Athletic became the first club in the country (EFL and NLS) to reach an impressive milestone, as Adam Boyes rattled home our fiftieth goal of the current campaign.
The Steelmen beat the likes of Boro Rangers, Framlimgham Town, Holker Old Boys and the Football League roster to a half century of goals, still leading the pack after Oscar Fletcher’s strike on Friday evening.
Of the 51 goals currently to Redcar’s name, Bradley Fewster has proved the most prolific, netting 13 in all competitions, Adam Boyes close behind as a recent entry into double figures.
