The former captain leaves Green Lane for 'the first World Cup winners'.
Redcar Athletic would like to wish the very best to former club captain Anthony Bell, who this week completed a move to West Auckland Town.
The popular midfielder departs Green Lane upon the expiration of his current deal, making the switch to the ‘first World Cup winners’ as a free agent.
A regular fixture in the First Team across three bosses, Anthony Bell made 45 appearances in the red and navy, netting four times over two seasons.
The midfielder often donned the captain’s armband during the tenure of Gary Forster, leading the Steelmen to a sixth placed finish in the 2022/23 season, and a joint-record Isuzu FA Vase run last campaign.
All involved with Redcar Athletic would like to wish Anthony the very best in all of his future endeavours, and extend a heartfelt thanks for all of his contributions to the football club.
Go well, Anth.
