Find out where the Northern League trophy has been this week.

Since being hoisted in the air to a blitz of champagne and confetti by Danni Lay and Kevin Burgess, the Northern League trophy has found itself up and down Redcar’s golden shores.

From peering out over the bar at Rita’s on the Esplanade to cheering on the juniors at our very own Green Lane, here’s everything the coveted cup has gotten up to in the wake of that historic afternoon in Easington.

MATCH REPORT

Just in case you missed it, here’s how we clinched the title back in April.

THE WELCOME TOUR

After a night of partying in the Steelmen’s Bar, the Northern League trophy was finally introduced to its new home by our very own Thom Bowden

From the beacon to the beaches, the little peice of silverware took in all the sights, popping up at Redcar Clock and the Regent Cinema, but stopping short of going for a Lemon Top.

There’s always next week.

RITA’S MICRO PUB

After its travels, it was off for a pint for the coveted cup, and Rita’s was its chosen destination.

The trophy has sat on the bar for a number of days, peering out at the regular customers, and most likely eyeing up a few pints of its own.

SEASON TICKETS

That’s right. Our Early Bird offer begins this afternoon. Don’t miss it!

JUNIOR GAMES

Determined to meet the stars of tomorrow, the Northern League trophy made an appearance at some of our Junior games throughout the week.

DAVE PEACOCK MEMORIAL CUP

It was off to our popular charity match on Sunday, as the Northern League trophy watched our Junior Coaches scoop the Dave Peacock Memorial Cup for a second year in a row.

They beat our Senior Reserves after a daring comeback, once trailing by three goals before roaring back to win five-four.

NON-LEAGUE DOGS

Sick of sightseeing, the Northern League trophy became a temporary home for young Billy, whose charms scored him a big day out on the popular ‘X’ account, Non League Dogs.
