Every match has its importance, but Wednesday's against Matlock will be our biggest one this season, with 3 points sealing the title for the Steelmen
A win on Wednesday night against former Boro midfielder Adam Clayton’s Matlock Town would secure Redcar Athletic Football Club a place in the Northern Premier League.
What an incredible achievement that would be. In just 23 years of adult football, our club stands on the brink of reaching Step 3, only three promotions away from the Football League.
A club proudly representing the town of Redcar, and one that is putting our community firmly on the footballing map.
So, to the people of Redcar: we need you.
Join us on Wednesday night at the Hollou Sports Stadium, Green Lane, Redcar TS10 3RW, get behind the players, and hopefully witness a historic moment.
Bring your family, bring your friends and come along to make some noise and cheer on the champions-elect.
With Adam Clayton’s Matlock Town currently sitting second, it promises to be a superb match. A strong travelling support is expected, and so the atmosphere will be electric.
Together, we can showcase everything that’s great about Redcar and help the players take a huge step towards the next level.
With live music in our fantastic fanzone, plus a great selection of beers, food and drinks, it’s always a special night under the lights at the Hollou Sports Stadium, and it is an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else.
Please come along.
This is the night we need you most.
