We are going up!
Whilst winning the Northern Premier League East Title last week was confirmed with victory over Matlock Town, we still had the task of ensuring that the ground passed its Ground Grading Criteria to enable us to take our place in the Northern Premier League.
Despite an unexpected setback on Sunday, it was confirmed today by both the FA & the Northern Premier League that we had been successful in passing all the requirements for Step 4 and so securing our place in the Northern Premier League (Step 3) for the 2026/27 season.
The club would like to thank everyone for their massive efforts over the last few weeks in helping to get the ground ready for the inspection it really has been a momentous team effort but special thanks must go to Shaun Weatherhead who has overseen the works and has overcome some really challenging situations and has worked all hours sometimes in appalling conditions to ensure that the Club can continue its upwards projection.
So, as of next season, we will be welcoming a whole new set of teams to the ground as we look to have another successful campaign.
