The central midfielder has signed a new contract with the football club.
Redcar Athletic are delighted to confirm Chay Liddle has penned a new deal ahead of our first season in the Northern Premier League East.
The popular midfielder joins the likes of Oscar Fletcher, Adam Boyes and Mark Anderson in signing a new year-long contract, extending his stay at Green Lane until May 2026.

Signed from Hebburn Town in early 2024, Chay has proved near indispensable in the past fourteen months.
The midfielder was named Players’ Player of the Season at our annual presentation last Friday, making an impressive 46 appearances during our title-winning campaign.
Whilst not amongst the goals, Chay played a pivotal role in a record-breaking defensive set-up, contributing to a near-miraculous 27 clean sheets.
Now, as Redcar Athletic look to begin a new chapter in the Northern Premier League East, the midfielder puts pen to paper to extend his stint at the club until the May of 2026.
Such was pleasing for First Team boss Carl Jarrett, who had high praise for the 33-year-old.
”I’m delighted to get Chay in again this season.” He said.
“His consistency last season was key for us winning the title.”
Thank you for your commitment, Chay.
