The boss previews our final home game of the season against Blyth Town.
Carl Jarrett said Saturday’s Northern League clash with third placed Blyth Town is perhaps the biggest game in the history of Redcar Athletic.
Three points for the Steelmen would all but secure the league title – and promotion to the Northern Premier League East – a monumental achievement for a club still in its relative infancy.

A season packed with drama, excitement a dash of fear, it could all come to a satisfying end on Saturday afternoon.
Redcar Athletic host playoff contesting Blyth Town in one final outing at the B&D Interiors Stadium, and with such a superior goal difference, three points should be enough to settle the title fight.
Keenly aware of the situation, Carl Jarrett stressed the importance of Saturday’s game, but pleased with his players to keep their feet on the floor.
“We all know what the situation is. We won’t take it lightly.” He said.
“It’s a massive game for the club. You can say it’s a big game in our season, but it’s probably the biggest game in the history of Redcar.
“The lads all know this. There’s been times when we could have had this all sewn up earlier in the season, but we’ve bounced back well.
“Blyth Town are a good team. We’re on our home pitch, so everyone will just be expecting that Redcar are going to win.
“We’ve got to concentrate, and we’ve got focus on what we want to do.
“Training on Tuesday was all about making sure the lads keep their feet on the floor, and to be fair, turn up like they did on Saturday.
“I thought it was a full performance. If we can put a show on like that, we’ll get those three points.”
